Household Eligibility Process
Required income, household, residence, or qualifying-program information is submitted for review. Energy Saver North Carolina makes the eligibility determination.
Independent Assessment
For HOMES projects, an authorized independent assessor evaluates the home and develops the energy model. HEAR projects follow the applicable current pathway requirements.
Scope and Contractor Planning
ClearVolt develops a proposed scope, equipment plan, contractor assignment, pricing, and required supporting work based on the available assessment and program information.
Program Review and Approval
The project is submitted with required documentation. Work does not begin until required approvals and any required rebate reservation are received.
Installation, Permits and Inspection
Qualified and appropriately licensed trade professionals complete the approved work. ClearVolt coordinates scheduling, documentation, permitting, and inspections where required.
Final Documentation and Closeout
ClearVolt coordinates final photographs, checklists, testing, invoices, inspection records, and program closeout requirements.
